|You definately have a fan here in Connecticut! Actually, I am going to print your poem and show it to a couple of friends of mine. Your words, "You came and saw my worth, gathered the sparkling debris
and in a moment with your gentle spirit, mended my lyrical urn of you;
and I was healed" are such soothing words. To me, these are words of hope, and you express it so beautifully. No matter how difficult things get in life, there will always be a special person who will help us to pick up the debris and carry on. A helping hand, a hug, and someone who truly cares is the best way to heal. This is a very soothing poem, and it is written as a light of hope.

|I loved the link between communication and healing. Great poem with a deep sense of love and devotion. Perhaps some marvels are to precious to be shared, easily broken by the wrong user. Deep wells of love and truth, however, are indestructible. Franz|

|I don't mind the color. What always strikes me about your work is your FLAWLESS line breaks - I read your work aloud because it is a natural instinct for me to do so when the lines break exactly where they should - on the author's "natural" pause. Your work is written TO be read aloud.
I like this part best of all:
"... but in a moment of madness
when someone said,
that’s no poem;
I deemed it unworthy
and flung it to the floor ..."

|This is as sparkling and healing as perhaps the touch of the angel in your picture, Regis! Such truth so purely and visually stated - solid gold, my friend! This one will be among many of our treasures, I'm sure. I was at a reading by a renowned Welsh poet here in the UK recently, and his answer to the question of "survival" put to him by one enthusiastic writer, I thought, was so sad: "You need a huge ego to be able to compete!" he said. I begged to disagree: perhaps we need self-belief and the sense of the value of our worth and work (irrespective of what others might think) just as much as we need the encouragement of others. Both are neccessary to keep us getting up when we fall! Thanks for this beautiful window on all our poetic souls, Regis! KB|

|Anything you write, Regis, no matter the content, the worth per others, or any negative comments, is worth my reading it and loving it as always...6 words herein are beautiful and say more than anything else, specifically, "mended my lyrical urn of you", those words alone are the best, so much imagination went into putting them down, WOW, I am speechless...hard to believe...Peace thru the Written Word, Ed & Rufuz|

|Regis, if you wrote it as a poem, then it's a poem, even if someone else perceives it not to be a poem. It's all in the way one looks at things. One person's junk is another person's art and vice versa.
I'm glad that a kind soul came along and healed you--I wish someone would come along and heal my fractured arm. Happy first day of Spring.
