Withdrawal from
being a young buck,
just bought a red
racing stripe truck.
Wouldn't buy red,
when I had
a young head.
Rode mostly
dark colors,
hardly pinned a tie
to my collars.
Attitude was one of
mostly negativity,
until I learned the
power of positivity.

Presently in my
older years,
I have shed all
my young fears.
My mind is ready,
but my body isn't
quite as sturdy.
Now that I really know
how to have fun,
my body at times
gets a stun.
I have to stop
and slow down,
before I completely
hit the ground.

At times I wish for
my youth back,
especially during
activities in the sack.
If I didn't have
to get old,
I would forever put
my youth on hold.
I hate some of what
old age bring,
many times I can hear
my little boy sing.

youth and stronger,
you didn't take time to
appreciate being younger,
You were too busy
with foolishness,
to really enjoy your

As I reflect back
over the years,
the little youth
I have left,
will be appreciated every
second of the day,
in each and
every way.
I will not take one
second of it for granted,
for the rest of the time
