Not Made of Stone

Though i may not smile or cry

i can still feel

and though i cant heal

i am still real

i am not made of stone

nor is my heart black and cold

I bleed too...

just like you

and though it may seem hard to find true

i AM still here

and i'm not somethin you can tell to just dissapear

i am not the stone statue that sits in your garden

of wilted roses dying for water

though it has cracks in it as so does my heart

there is one that that holds us apart...

i am not stone

and though we both stand alone

i can feel the sorrow

and though we both enjoy the rain

i am the one that feels the pain

dont you see

i am not like the stone statue

i am me...

here and breathing,

not standing still...

my skin is bleeding,

not cracking...

i am needing,

unlike the stone statue

i am alive

Ah Heather, so powerful, so much heartache and pain, this one just got to me, excellently written and expressed, just took my breath away,

Always,
