I’m here to tell a story, and the story goes like this
Its about a man’s journey in to the dark abyss
The man lies unmoving, lies cold on his hospital bed
For all to see it might seem that the man is surely dead
A little boy walks in,near the man’s bed he decides to stand
He then bows his head in prayer and joins his little hands
He asks god to listen and hear his fervent prayer,
He asks god where is his father, why is his father not there
I watch all this in silence, a silence difficult to bear
I say nothing to the child, I act like he is not there
For the predicament of the man, lying in bed for all to see
Is that the man is in a coma, yes that man is me
