Be bop

piddly wampus!

(Did you just see
that purple house float by?)

This,
brain’s
in pain

Wanna
write

Just
don’t
wanna be
a

I have a migraine tonight. Why aren't I in bed instead of reading on AD? Probably because I would have missed out on reading your wonderful work... :-) Michelle

lol...nice write. I too suffer from migraines. Not a pleasant experience.

Hearty congratulations on winning the poetry competition too. You deserve it after all the wonderful work you submit here

I recommend Depakote. I used to have horrendous migraines and now they are gone, gone, gone. It's used to treat migraines, as well as epilepsy (seizure disorder) and Bipolar Disorder. Find a good neurologist and ask about Depakote. Tell 'em I sent ya.

Tami, I totally understand your pain! I get migraines every other day but they have been letting up a little lately. Thank God! I have had a brainstem tumor that was taken out eight and a half years later and now I have hydrocephalus and have a shunt in my body and have brain damage. I am going to rehab right now so that is why I do not write as much. Can I use this poem in my health site? The address is http://www.orgsites.com/tx/migrainesbgone Thanks!

I had a migraine on Monday. I see "auras," jagged yellow lights that cover my eyes and only go away after maybe two hours. Luckily, I had time to rest in a dark room before I had to teach.

The first few lines say it all... Tami, headaches are pure nonsense and absolutely NOT funny! You are proof that writing and talent do not honor our "down-shifts"... out of your misery comes a shining star! poor thing... but your poem is cool. Take care, sweet thing. katy xox.
