Air Guitar

Something fun I wrote while working today, after hearing Skynards Freebird...

---Air Guitar---

Once many years ago,

I played the guitar; yes I did so,

Forgotten most, played by ear,

But with my fingers, my dear…

At this time I own an Epiphone model,

Bought for me by my lady, when we did toddle,

Through Nashville in a heat that did not coddle…

I kick though at air guitar, Skynard, Hendrix & Clapton,

Can’t hold a candle to me in that respect,

Although I really do certainly hold them in great regard,

The one I do play & have fun at, is the air guitar, I am therein a star!

Sometimes I do play the drums, sometimes the sax & sometimes I sing,

I never, no I don’t, get near any plate glass windows when I do sing,

Belting out a song, at an octave above anyone known, I cannot do too long,

As it will definitely result in a law suit or at the very least, my losing my voice,

Forever and ever is way to long to lose it, even if it was just exactly my choice…

i love music myself...I do play the acoustic guitar..piano or any instument that looks or have the same 'Notes' as a piano like a casio, organ what ever!!
The singing most definately not something to brag about.....heheheh somedays I can't keep the key at all.....and just the next moment I am fine.....Just like a "woman".....just need the right touch to spark.........lol!!
I also play by ear...but can brag about the fact I wrote ,,,,,,or rather "did" the music for my song here at the den called "A Million Miles Away"...not the music that plays at the back ground but the music that is suppose to go with the song when it ever gets to be put to a CD by some famous singer....lol!!

Now I am rambling on and on and onnnn......but if I do start I hardly ever stop easily.....lol!!

Love Tinka
