Humor or fantasy, or one mans philosophy, who knows about this one...

Miss Fortune & Shane…

Sounds like a comedy couple,

Or a singing pair, like Sonny & Cher,

Maybe just two people, trying to share,

The billboard of their future fame, at least was Shane…

How do I know these two, you ask?

Met them at a fund raiser for the president,

No not the president of the United States,

For our club we formed, needed a president,

The club is called; “Misfortune is Lame…”

Tired we were of dealing with the excuse,

We formed this club so as not to accuse,

Anyone of being full of the whine & excuses,

To be anymore than that of a full member herein,

Now they can whine and make excuses to their hearts content,

But no one will listen to them, except our two members above,

Yes Miss Fortune & Shane are here to listen,

It is their job, their station in life, to listen and advise…

So now you know who these two folks are,

Are they really real, do they exist in real life, you ask?

Is this club a reality thing or just a fig bar of my vivid imagination?

Well therein lies the crux of the problem,

You have to make up your mind, or try to find, if I am herein giving you a line,

Or am I in reality, being just as honest as the day is long, let me say right now so long…
