The "Mutuality Benediction," as I usually refer to "Goodbye for Now," is so named to indicate the synegry, belongingness and togetherness that exist during a shared and quality time face-to-face encounter between two or more persons. Preferably, singing "Goodbye for Now" is a way to acknowledge to each other before departing from each other the value of that shared experience and to express each other's desire to meet again in a face-to-face relationship. |

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
We are leaving here with hearts inspired;
Our lives have been enriched.
As we depart let us shake hands
...let us shake hands... shake hands... shake hands...;
Let us shake hands and bless others gathered here. Goodbye for now we've shared our hopes and dreams;
We ask in faith that we may share again.
The time we spent here was time well spent;
It showed us how love can meet our needs.
Goodbye for now Let us go away rejoicing. Goodbye for now Let us live life in all its fullness.
Goodbye.
Now before we leave this hallowed place,
To go our separate ways;
Let us extend a warm embrace ...a warm embrace... embrace... embrace...;
Let us embrace to express how much we care.
Goodbye for now we've learned, we've lived and loved;
We now depart better than when we came.
The time we spent here was time well spent;
It showed us now love can meet our needs.
Goodbye for now Let us go away rejoicing.
Goodbye for now Let us live life in all its fullness.
Goodbye. Goodbye.
(Note: While singing the first stanza of this song shake hands with several persons but do not rush. While singing the second stanza of this song embrace (hug) several persons but do not rush from one person to the next person.)
