What do ya think, too much work to rehab this place? I like it...! Its got a kind of class...

Dilapidated in condition,

In need of a house physician,

As yet it hasn’t died,

Maybe I can get it with a bribe,

This old home, with its roof & sides,

Caving in & will need to be tied…

Who do you supposed once owned it?

This old house all messy and full of bird shit,

Seems it has been around,

Longer than I; doesn’t look very sound,

Gonna take lots of windows and nails,

Probably inhabited by many snails…

Surrounded by marsh,

Survived many a storm, oh so harsh,

Weathered though it is, seems like a nice place to live…

No neighbors to speak of, other than the sanctuary next door,

They will let us know when someone comes up the drive or walk,

Hey wait a minute it has neither of those, but the birds will still talk…
