You have a heart that's made of gold,
and shining stars light up your soul.
Your love is like the morning tide,
it's strong enough that I may ride
upon its crest, into your heart.
Our love is strong; a world apart.

Your words to me sound of a song
that I may rest my soul upon.
Your caring ways and thoughtful deeds,
I give to you - fulfill your needs.

And you, my darling, in return,
you fill my heart with love I've yearned.
A feeling warm, I cherish you,
and think of you in all I do.

I pray to powers that may be
that time will keep our loving free...
That hurt will never come between,
that nothing ever touch this dream.

Let's run through the fields of flowers still,
and catch the sunshine on the hill.
We'll look out o'er the sands of time
and hear the bells of freedom chime.

They speak of peace within our hearts,
and show us how true loving starts.
I cherish you and share your dreams,
I, my love, will always be...

A soul 'pon whom you can depend,
A long-time love and trusting friend.
One to tell your troubles to,
Yes, I will share your laughter too.

And with this note I end my song;
A love you can depend upon.
Though mountains fall into the sea...
My loving you will always be.
