| Hello Linda. Touching piece. I feel sorry for people like this and try very hard not to get this way myself. There's a thin line. A lot of them have drug and alcohol problems. love&p. G |

Linda, I jsut posted a song/poem that fits the man in the picture. Most pass them by and take little notice. You look at them and care.
I see them and know it could have been me. Stop by and hear the song of one of them. Your friend Bill |

(((linda)))
heartbreaking, compassionate--i once was there. don't want to ever be there again. may be, though, if things don't improve :(
it can happen to ANYBODY--no one is immune to homelessness
and our government doesn't care. (as long as THEY aren't there)
(((HUGS))) and thank you for a most needed piece--which everyone in higher offices should be forced to read
love, karla. :( |

| People living like this is a hard truth in life. The difference here is you are someone who is willing to believe it. Many people would not and prefer to ignore this situation. I admire that you refuse to let their plight go unsung. |

Oh Linda.
God bless you for seeing not just what everybody wants to see, but what people need to see.
And for hearing the cries too often missed.
I wish we could save the world, but you push us all to make any difference we can.
Awesome poetry.
