Farcical or not, life is...what else can be said...?

Life, What a Farce…

Feel somewhat compelled to write this night,

Not sure what it is I want to say, is that alright?

Just want to put pen to paper & write herein what I feel,

No ideas, nor other stuff do I wish to from others, steal…

So, herein I am just flowing on my own,

Words that do move along without any meaning, I have sown,

Must just write, to keep my hand & mind desirous of doing so,

Must try to find for myself a niche, this night,

To quell that which is inside, my itch…

Out tomorrow to the doctors, my almost 50th years checkup,

All the usual stuff, just to keep myself in a modicum of medical shape,

My emotional or psychological shape having been maintained,

For several years now with the use of pills, not so lame,

I am sure the doctor, she will find, my physical condition to be just fine,

Although I will be bitched at regarding my weight, always I think of a bit late…

As for being 50, I never did think, I would make it this far, by now I would stink,

As a corpse buried and rotten, better that than to become old & forgotten…

You just keep right on writing whatever comes out of your Iddy Biddy Id and I'll keep right on reading it. Unfortunately, you are SO prolific I usually can't keep up with you.
