Stretched in thin,
vertical lines, arms
upraised and fingertips
painted color of hope,
a circle of piney angels
beckon to me and I
lift my eyes
toward soft sky.

Dressed in fine
pattern of pink,
flowering angel child
dances
in unpredictable wind,
embraces day
and welcomes fledgling
bluebird twins.

I came here to cry but
angels everywhere
minister to me.
A cardinal and
brown thrasher
join in song,
sing me sweetly
into peace.

This is like a breath of fresh air, how lovely- like the angels/birds-such a visual piece.

You are right! Angels are there and if we acknowledge them, they reveal themselves to us. Thank you for this lovely offering, Dawn. Love and peace. Regis

Dawn -

We certainly can use them, especially on a moments notice. I know that my guardian angel always comes through ... a beautifully penned poem!
