Thank you, one and all, for your
prayers, love and encouragement.
You mean the world to me.

I love you all. :-)

spitting words & phrases
onto miles of pristine paper
& onto the world wide web
the poet thinks her words
will not be read

howling dejectedly
at a bitter full moon clouded by
doubtful feelings of self worth
the poet thinks her words
will not be read

beating her fists against
seemingly unpenatrable walls of
indignation & sadness
the poet suddenly
has a breakthrough

her words flow like rivers
encouraged by unselfish prayers &
the love from fellow authors
the poet is grateful
& so she writes

& her words are read

Sorry I've been away a lot lately. Since my Dad has passed away, I'm staying a three days and two nights at my mom's place every week so she will not think that she's alone.

I was just coming to look for you when I found your your latest at the very top of the new poetry page. I'm so glad that you have snapped out of it, whenever it was. We are told that writing is nine parts preparation and one part inspiration. That's true but another part writing is believing in yourself and your work.

Speaking of work this piece is a good one .
