No longer, in reality, do I drink, but I can remember how it was, if it hasn't changed I will never do so again...

Respectable I’ve been called, from under the table,

As I stay on the chair, not crawling under, yes I am able,

To do so, as a drunk I am very stable only drinking Green Label…

Even after drinking so much as is my ability as a lush,

I don’t fall on the floor of the bathroom to puke,

Worshipping the porcelain god I do so on my knees, then I do flush…

No cleaning required, as when I do the projectile thing,

Straight down the drain it does go without chance of any cling,

But to be honest, I do not partake of any alcohol but I do however sing…

Lets not go there, the sing part at least; it will drive you to drink,

As it has done for many others, all of them rinky dink drunks, from listening to my song,

Hope this poem has proven to you, just how respectable I am, but for how long…

It hasn't changed if you drink too much, Ed. Best to stay sober if you can...though I tend to partake of the ale a bit...perhaps a bit too often...cute poem. Enjoyed it and the humor. All good things to you,
