I said something
Pulled something
Just a stray thread
From some distant garment
Iíll soon come to wear

The robe of reality
Fitted by the things I say
Whether whispered in innocence
Or with calculated design

The naked days have vanished
With its harmony of love
Unfeigned and unfettered
By doubts, fears, curiosities,
Wonderings, decisions, testings

Just a pilgrim
On a journey to bliss
Sidetracked by chance
And something I said

Funny how just a few words strung together can influence everything we do. But isn't that the essence of poetry? When one can see how so few words contain so many possibilities, one begins to perceive the true beauty of poetry.
