2 little poems

~~Prison's Halo~~

I've committed the crime and accept now my fate
Actions were taken and fate now dictates
My eyes were wide open and so was my soul
My crime so enormous no chance for parole
These shackles that bind me, these bars hold me in
If  need be......I'd do it ALL OVER again
Perhaps I'm addicted, and don't want a cure
My own worst enemy, forget a saviour
This crime so enormous, so private, so deep
I CANNOT escape it, not even through sleep
It haunts me, and taunts me, delights and renews
Confounds and astounds, enchants and subdues
I've sunk in so deep, the way out is lost
Declare now my crime???? I stole your heart, of course

~~LADY A~~

Breeze of love

A gentle breeze of love that soothes my heart
That calms my worries and fears
A gentle breeze of love that soothes my heart
A treasure I hold very dear
A gentle breeze of love that soothes my heart
That envelops me body and soul
A gentle breeze of love that soothes my heart
That invites my love to unfold
A gentle breeze of love that soothes my heart
And ignites my passion to soar
A gentle breeze of love that soothes my heart
That opens the key to locked doors
A gentle breeze of love that soothes my heart
That makes me feel so cared for
A gentle breeze of loves that soothes my heart
I'm complete, and do not need more

Lady A ... if all of us were caught who stole a heart away ... many would be wearing the prison halo. Love your poetry and enjoyed both poems. Bill Murray

The first word that leapt at me, while reading, was charming. It is utterly so and has wonderful wit. I think you have a bit of the 'suspense' writer in you.. a 'wait and see' in your style.. and your meter and rhyme is enchantingly rhythmic. Love it. katy xox.
