A lot of our lives is formed by comfortable repetition

Driving the kid to school

Will you bring me A plus today?

I want a gameboy!

Office reality

Check for mail and messages

Yesterday's popcorn

It's lunch time again

Today please double seaweed salad

With tempura sauce

Mid-day lazyness

A triple shot cappucino

God save starbucks

Please wait a customer repres

Gas stop and carwash

Please choose menue press button 4

Drive save on your road

Walmart dimension

My stuff hangs in blue plastic

Like tired balls in fall

Buy buy and come back

Well, but these are just the pleasant and positive repetitions, though surely boring.
Unfortunately the negative things also happen again and again...
Great poem.

You paint a portrait of reality and the catch is in realizing how I can relate to a lot of it. Thank you for this offering, Franz. Love and peace. Regis

Well for sure Franz, one of the things has lost its boredom due to the price increase! (Filling up our gasoline tanks). Wish it would become boring again. Good poem. Bill

Moment to moment we build our day. Sometimes it's exiting, sometimes mundane. Well done.

i like how you've arranged these glimpses of daily episode ...

sometimes the mundane will keep you sane ...

Funny stuff, yet sad, too, in our modern, much too harried world.
Reviewed by Daniel McTaggart 3/31/2004
I like the way you capture mundanity here. Maybe it is blah, but it's comfortable blah. It also makes me think repetition isn't such a bad way to live sometimes. But it's up to us to change routine every once in a while. Once done, we can feel better about all that repetition.

Acurate description of the every day blahs we endure. Need some fun, don't we?
