Will You Remember Me…?

I wonder sometimes,
When the day ends,
And silence reigns,
Amid the falling stars,
And weeping moon,

If you will remember me,
In the blazing heat of noon,
When the flowers bloom,
And life is good,
Will you hear my name,
When someone calls to you?

When you look into her eyes,
The one you left me for,
Will you see the love,
I had inside?

I wonder sometimes,
Why I came,
Even more,
Why I stayed-

When I knew it was all,
For naught,
You say not a game,
But only the insane,
Could hold you so close,
And forget for a moment,
That you were merely a ghost-

A figment of my creation,
Someone to hold my hand,
And pretend to understand,
The darkness of my heart…

When we part,
As surely we will,
Will you remember me,
When the nights are still?

Will you look out your window,
Staring into the sky,
And when the moon winks,
Her lovely eye,
Will you see me,
Whisper good-bye?

I wonder sometimes,
If when you see the summer sky,
And the clouds flowing softly by,
In a sky so beautifully blue,
If you will remember,
How much I loved you-

And finally understand,
How much I wanted you,
To love me too…

Heart-rendering poetry. I am in awe of your poetry.

Wow. I love the thought of pleading for anothers entry to heaven.

I am glad you have given yourself permission to let go of your pain and this (the Female Portion) is like a declaration that you chose to be free of the pain residing in the past and not let it affect your future. All at the inspiration and challenge of others.

Take the love of all those who have viewed your work as vote of confidence you are a grand poet, and a lovely person.

Choose to have a powerful tommorrow,
