I lean over and whisper to the moon

I love you, you shine so brightly

I love you in your silver light

The moon whispers to the sun

I love you so, but you’ll never slow down

and let me catch you

The breeze whispers to the trees

I’ll say this once you must listen to me

Watch the moon she’s sad and blue

I lean over and whisper to the birds

You must fly now and catch the sun

You tell him that she loves him so

You must whisper to the west wind

to carry it to an eastern shore

before the moon sets in the west

The sun whispers across the sky

I love you, silver light

You shine and alight the night

The moon whispers to the sun

I love you, great red sky

so strong your light, it blinds me

I lean over and whisper to my love

I love you, and the stars above

and most of all the moon and sun

I find your beauty with their light

I whisper sweetly in her ear

The whispers are always here
