A Derogation Of Biology

The chime
Of everyday
Tolls the end
Of you and me
Against that ultimate second
Of second of destiny -
When all is bound up
Tied together in the knot
Of the period -
The final expression
Of wrestling and digressing
Of merely surviving
While exercising -
At least a modicum
Of intelligence of
What it is all about
Other than organic
Cellular biology.
Biology is merely means
To know -
Transmitter and receiver -
Never will I succumb
To it as authority
Of all and end all
Of me.
Biology, you are my means
My furniture -
But I deny thee
As evidence of me.

Addie;

I must apologize. When these aging eyes first saw the title I thought it said A Derogation of Baloney. Come to think of it...

Nice work here.
