What is that Bright Thing in the Sky?

Is that the moon?

No, it can’t be,

Its only 4 o’clock in the afternoon,

Then it is a big star, come afar to warm our heads,

As they have been covered in wet, of late, we feel so dead…

It must be, yes it is, no it can’t be,

Is it really the sun, broke through the clouds so dark,

No rain on the roof do I hear, then it must be,

The sun is yes still a great big star, it has to be, to warm us this far…

So we finally got to see the sun, now where is the blue sky?

Guess we can’t expect to get everything at once, but why?

Another couple of months, and we will be bitchin’ about the heat,

Its not the heat, yes it’s the humidity, oh what the hell,

We take what we can get when we get it; I have to tell,

We shouldn’t feel in anyway, with no sun; just rain, cheated…

You're right--if it's not the cold, it's the heat we complain about. It is nice to see and feel the sun, even in the dead of winter. Rain, well it has it's good points too but not as much as the warmth of the yellow glow . . . What a way to welcome spring! b
