Photograph taken by Theresa Koch

Deeper into the path I walk
Coming upon the staircase
Here and only here I decide
Do I climb forward in life?

Breath ache's my chest now
Deciding mind dwells, move
Up or down do I descend back
Looking up I remember my life

This decision is so important
Here in the veils path, memories
Words from the Father whisper
Heart jumps a beat at the sound

Yes this climb back home is hard
But as the Angels voices sing
Earth walking means mere learning
I grab the railing keeping strong

Then breathe escaping with a rush
I remember heavens beautiful smell
With strength again I make my way
Happily and wishfully back home

Going home is something inherent in many of us. Earth walking is something else again.

I have not read your poems in awhile; I'd forgotten you paint scenes with your words. I feel like I've come home myself.

Your soul is opening to waves of brand new consciousness..Yes, our earth walk (birth and life) is but a sleeping and a forgetting of what, who and why we are... This poem reflects your awkening to both worlds and the beautiful possiblites, challenges, divinity, learning and light.. It also reflects your knowledge of his grace towards you...Teri, you have been gifted these trials, like many to bring you into depths of more and more light.. Your poetry is changing, showing more and more blossming of your heart and soul..This is beautiful, sis.....You seem more at peace, more at direction than ever.. You, sis, seem so grounded in "all that is".. My precious sister Teri, your soul's beauty shines so deep, just as if a carver had polished your soul and revealed an incredibly rare diamond..So happy things are going good for you..You are such an inspiration of his grace and mercy..God bless you..

Love Always,
