Tales
blowing in the wind
(can't tell where they've been)
rushing 'round the bend.
Some go on ... ne'er end
my friends.
Tales
changing as they're told--
never growing old,
becoming risque', bold,
live longer than men ...
my friends.
Tales--
sailor to his wife,
rumors sprung to life,
sawing like a knife
under your skin. Suspends
my friends.
Tales
tailored to each host,
merit drink, a toast,
may be fiction, boast
flitter 'round in dens
my friends.
Tales
golden or obscene,
sweet, horrid, between,
live a life unseen,
passed through lips and grins
my friends.
Tales
tall or teeny, small,
fascinate us all,
make some laugh, some squall ...
stories without end ...
my friends.
Tales
I'll tell you mine
if you'll tell me yours.
Funny, icky, sad,
inside out of doors.
Through friendships tales spin
again and again
my friends.

Sandie, this poem goes round and round upside down. I can't tell where you've been and don't know where you're goin', but I know you will get there with this clever little write. Hugs Bill
