if i can feel your breath
massaging every nerve
if i can feel your fingers
still drawing to my curves,
i know that this is honest
i know you're intentions
but baby, if i get hooked
what will happen then?
finding wounds in dark places
but you go on healing.
all the shyness subsides for now
as we continue revealing.
minding to our desires
delving into  consequence
my mind slips back to the start;
what was the pretense?
deep within there is a quake
and i feel soon erruption.
with every taste of your laughter
this desire will keep resumption.
a canopy of privacy
one, to know, i've never come
all i know is we're alone.
all we can do is run.
i can feel your warmth
wanting to come near.
i can feel the tension,
that blooms into fear.
i can feel the unsureness
as we enter our zone.
i can feel the relief
...as we go into 'alone'.

Wow, Brittany, this is great!! Love this opening verse:

"if i can feel your breath
massaging every nerve
if i can feel your fingers
still drawing to my curves,"

Very soothing in its gentle sensuality. :)

Nicely Done Brittany,

Long time no speak. It is good to see your poetry again. "Blooms into fear" is very nice. And the last line is nice as well. The poem is nicely accessible for me.

Peace to you.

Brittany, I don't get to comment as much as I'd like, but your poetry is wonderful, and I enjoy it regularly. This poem is to me, a song about passion, it's build up , it's bliss... very nice.. Jim
