A False Loss.

I thought I heard you whisper,
But it was just the wind;
Hush. Hush.
Silence overwhelms me
Hush. Hush.
The rain is saying; tapping through the window
Just like one single ray of light showing through dark clouds
The thought of you makes me smile
Just like that same lonely ray of light,
My hope shines on inside,
To keep sunshine in my life.

So suddenly you're gone,
And the funny thing is you were never mine
But now you're not here at all
It makes me wonder how...

Where did all my feelings come from,
Why did you disappear?
Unanswered questions will haunt me now

Everywhere I turn, things remind me of you
How can this be... after all we are just strangers in this world
But yet everything appears familiar
When I'm thinking of you.

I don't understand myself,
Why am I scared of losing
Something I never had?

You are just a false loss...
A false loss. Full stop.

Do we ever really know others...do we ever really have others for more than a moment...if that...very nice...
