Not In Gods Plan

It was never Gods plan to raise a hand to our brother,
He gave us His example: to love one another.
The Lord never judged man by the color of his skin,
To Him it mattered not of a person’s origin.
Nor was it Gods plan against our neighbors to turn,
But to extend helping hands...from each other to learn.
God said, “Love thy neighbor”...not only next door
But whomever we meet…. from shore to shore.
Somewhere along the way Gods words got put aside,
One does what seems right in his own eyes.
The beam in his eye has blocked sight of what’s right
Leading to terrorism...wars…solving disagreements with might.
So God leaves us to our devices...his eyes filled with tears,
We can’t expect not to reap what’s been sown for years.
Now tragedy unites us, we feel the wrath of man,
It’s time to wake up! Hate was not in God’s plan.

You are so right Twilah. God sent His only son to show us what that be they brother's keeper is what we should all be about. I remember growing up in a small twon and the whole town took care of us. When out parents weren't home, we could go to a friend's and if our parents still weren't home by dinner time, they even set a place for us. A lot of times they weren't asked to look after us, they just did. Love, acceptance, helping one another, settling disagreements by either a handshake, or maybe something in the way of a favor. But war definitely was never in God's plan. I have talked about this with many men and they all the say teh same thing, that the economy grows during wartime. That is a lot of cow manure. The economy suffers because we have greedy corporate types that want to do nothing but steal from those they employ or from the rest of us, simply because we don't have enough money.
The person that has God in his/her heart, and listens to the cries of the chidlren and those in need, and goes to help, is the richest person in the world, because he/she gives from the soul. I am a very firm believer in the power of prayer. And you have said it all right here. A 10+++++ and thank you for shairng this inspirational message.
Love & hugs,
Barbara |

| We all make all living by doing good and we should be kind of others and live according to the ten commandments as much as we can. We all sin and come short of God's glory, but we still must live right or as close to right as we can. Loved this one. *********** |

This is very late in coming, but thank you, Lady Peg, for your message. I have been so busy working on my books (both gone now) that I have neglected this site. Thanks again..
