Leaking Thoughts

At night I seem to spring a leak...

Leaking Thoughts…

Sometime at night when I sleep,

My thoughts I cannot keep,

They dribble out my ear,

Making my pillowcase smell so weird…

All gooey are they, my thoughts it seems,

Kinda like that of cool whip cream,

First time I saw it, boy did I ever scream,

What in the hell is that, one of my dreams?

This must be why, when I argue with another guy,

I tell them to wait till morning,

Let me sleep on it, I say,

I will then forget everything, just herein a warning…

Yikes!~ a bit graphic but oh, so wonderfully clever and charming too, Ed. I will think of this next time someone suggests I "sleep on it"... (smile). I may even mention this fine, creative piece of yours, and see if he/she looks confused. That'll show 'em.. hehe. No question about it, me sweet, your "thinking cap" is definitely right where it belongs! Cool.. katy xox.
