A random seed of life, formed of subconscious and external
movement, propelled by the collective to become something
larger than all its parts. God moves in mysterious ways. The
whole is unknown when viewed up close, until it is revealed that it was something greater.
The Crucifixion
Funny they call it Good Friday
when initially it feels so remorseful and sad
(metaphysically speaking)
Playing the part of Virgin Mary’s
birthing messiahs
our own personal Jesus*
in hope of knowing
a confidant companion confessor
that would teach us love, healing,
displays of compassion, and forgive
us of all our sins.
Though we try to be faithful
we become the betrayers,
denying existence of our own creation
and act as Magdaline** whores.
Temptations came from the trees of knowledge
affected and shamed our nakedness
cast out and alone
to wander in wilderness until
inspired faith became greater
for the savior was there
always with us.
The symbolism of the cross
displays the death/transformation
because pain and suffering
of one for another
was the greatest act of love.
For the universe created
a personal relationship with the divine
in answer to a prayer
and it may not be
what was expected
for life always
brings something more.
You are the light of the world
a candle of the light consciousness
indwelling within is harmony
and universal intelligence
a perfect expression of life.
Rise up, resurrect
know you are a disciple of the light awakened.
Celebrate! Good Friday after all!
When the night has been too lonely
And the road has been too long,
And you think that love is only
For the lucky and the strong.
Just remember in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snows,
Lies the seed that with the sun's love
In the spring becomes the rose.
