Subtle, eh, juxtaposed against "Society Of Poets"?! I betray myself here - the Jekyll and Hyde of an artistic temperament. Just goes to show there's plenty in me that could do with nailing to a cross and being recreated! Happy Easter, folks! KB

Peel me your eyeballs,
your brains as yoghurt breakfast
Feed me your essence!

Wear you like a coat
I want to get inside you
Your blood in my veins

I covet your mind -
how you interpret the world
See things YOU see

What, then, makes you tick?
Jealous of the air you breathe
- I want to be YOU!

I find fun in loving reading others great work, feel privilaged when people comment on mine, old cliche, be the best you can, as that's the best you'll be.

Great honest write..

Admiring others is a thing we all do....
I admire so many writers her at the Den...
You are one of them sweet Kate......the
grass always seems greener on the other
side doesnt it...I don't think writers
appreciate their own words....once in awhile
I like what I write....mostly I love what
others's good to love other poets
works...I loved this..short and powerful.
Happy Easter to you....floria

Lori, I don't know your pain and what life so far has been for you - but I'd share your beauty and shining soul anyday if you've any desire to lend - to say nothing of your amazing poetic gifting! Truly... KB

Kate, be careful you might get your wish and find that you were inside a hollow, mindless, vessel. You are the epitome of poetic thought. Your poetry sets stndards others can only dream of. Please stay home and reap the accolades that will follow you always. Happy Easter. Bill Murray
