Out of the womb I popped,
had no idea my heart had stopped.
Doctor slapped me back to life,
then came the misery & strife.
Learned about all the horror,
no one told me about the sorrow.

One day my eyes opened wide,
what I saw took my brain on a ride.
What is this bad trip I'm in,
will I ever learn how to win?
Nothing made no sense at all,
everything seemed to downfall.

Looking for a fun trip,
always ended up on a down flip.
Looked up at the birds in the sky,
like them I wanted to fly.
In search of something good,
I mentally changed in mood.

Exploring a higher power,
gave my heart & soul more tower.
Weighted down in body mass,
the Lord took me on a mental class.
Taught me how to soar up high,
gravitationally weight defy.

Flying up high is surely a fun trip,
positively dealing in life zip.
Looking back over the years,
soaring up high,
no more fears.
