the images so strong they burn.
I scream, I cry
why have I awakened,
to find myself a part of this song.
Do you see me? see the tears,
I scream, the fire is raging, the agony is real.
I am left charred, and scarred
but you'll see only the smile.
you, you're a coward
afraid of what is hidden in my heart,
you hide from it,
but for me,
there is no escape
I am left alone, each day to awake and sing this sad song.
