An honest face everything peek,
not really wanting to see the truth you seek.
Facing the truth,
can be worst than pulling a tooth.
You're the doctor,
operate in your sector.
Checking every nook,
may uncover the crook.
With the culprit cornered,
you may feel dishonored.
Then again you may correct,
because you realize you're not perfect.
I finally faced up,
to my parts gone corrupt.
Hurt like hell at first,
but I did quench my self knowledge thirst.
With all the facing up out of the way,
I continue on with life positively anyway.
