Pissed At My PC

My brain and my fingers are working away
But the system is slow
And it WILL have its way!
Just when I find
That I really do need it
Oh, why am I still
Such a computer eejit!
"The System' they call it,
but HAH! i do say!
There's NO system to it.
UP today..DOWN today!
I work very hard. I try to be nice,
But this hunk of old hardware
Sneers back: NO DICE!
I've never done anything mean
To its keyboard
So why is it nasty and unkind
To me, Lord?
I click on the mouse,
It freezes my arrow,
Just sits there and mocks me.
It just doesnt care, oh
I get it now! It wants to reboot.
Well, why not just say so?
You can't make MY day go
To hell, so be careful
My headstrong computer.
If I see your girlfriend,
The laptop, I'll SHOOT HER!

So there!!!! (yes, Virginia, I'm grinning) xox.

I pissed at my computer once. After that it wouldn't work, had a big yellow stain, and stunk like hell. There. I said it and I feel better. Do you?

Arrow freezes,
Maybe a cold it has,
Trust me, cold is how it may feel,
Here I sit, freezing in 85 degree weather,
Can't blame the "pooter", it is the operators fault they say...

Enjoyed, needed a laugh this afternoon, yes today... ed

Hahaha been there...done that...hate when that
arrow freezes...I think sometimes it is the
internet jam and not the computer...I have a
newer one and it still happens to me...Loved
your sense of humor here Katy....floria

Your sentiments in this poem are a lot like the ones
I wrote in my article on Computers in AD.

Calm down, Katydid; I know it's hard. But the key is to talk nicely to the old guy. Like many of us, he's probably overworked and extremely tired!!

Take three deep breaths, whisper sweet nothing's in his ear, pour and nice cup of tea, and call me in the morning; you and your old puter will feel much better.

Yep, the first time my computer told me to reboot, I was considering which fashion label would get it done and how much I'd have to invest in footwear to be up to speed...

:D Haha, I know this scene intimately, Katy!! My used hunk of computer is just as tempermental!! However, in my case, I was one of the symptoms, if not the cause! Just can't stay out of the Control Panel, so many fascinating places to visit in there...

Going out to do yardwork and enjoy the sunshine. Wish you were here.

Shoot her low, make her suffer. Great rant that we ALL can understand, us conservatives, those liberals, even the . . . gasp . . . independants!
