What is it that you hold against me?
Very gift of God I did not seek?
Accusations false and rumors weak?
My refusal to shrink, run from truth,
abandon certain call, betray core?

Why dismiss the possibility
that I am still who I was before,
that I respect, admire, adore
who you really are, were meant to be,
honor who you’ve always been to me?

Hi Dawn...very powerful and rather
pleading for an answer here...you know
dawn it doens't matter what others think..
remain true to yourself and you will never
go wrong...I love this plea.....I am kind
of in the same boat right now...so I relate..
expression through writing always helps...

Being strong is not usually a trait one looks away from, unless they are fearful of their ownselves as being the lesser of the two. We just can't give up on them..
