This is an excellent piece Erica, well written in its pondering. what it brings to my mind is the verse that says that we are to "work out our own salvation with fear and trembling before the Lord." I must also say this. Many people equate the fear part as a sign of an unmerciful God. But the opposite is true, "for he is merciful and ready to forgive." The fear is a respectful fear...much like that I have with the Plant Manager where I work, but to much, much greater degree. Never must we surrender our search for the truth Erica. Once again, this is a wonderfully written piece.

I echo what Floria has said Erica..I follow a merciful God's rules, not man's. This is very well written and raises many questions.

Great questions Erica...which I won't attempt to
answer...some things cannot be answered.....God
is all forgiving....He sees the heart....not the
rules that man has made...and man has made many rules..
Listen to God...not to man..is what I would say...
I just loved this searching here....love to you..

| The many discrepancies in the Bible and the many more discrepancies in the translation are cause for questions. Good poem with identifying meaning. |
