This daze is recollected through the midsummer blues.
Nowhere’s imagination seeds my own being.
I am mesmerised under shooting stars by my deeds.
Every path diverges on the sands of experience.

I dreamed on a carpet of clay.
I bayed at my own visionary way.
Brought through recollection to last autumn by a pond.
I remembered the stars.
I was with a woman and we fell asleep in our arms.

From the big blue the sun fell and she and I escaped to a rickety old boat.
We rowed to sea dodging a falling inferno.
One half of the sun split off from the other and sailed away downstream chasing two daffodils in a rowing boat.

Our rowing boat grew wings.
We sailed away and blew ourselves right up into space.
Our boat was a spaceship surrounded on all sides by many more.

Six hundred with mad ideas about ecology and biology and phantasy flames set sail like lunatics with radical ways.
We landed on this green and red planet.
It was like the phantom of my dreams.
I’ve dreamt for fifteen years.

We landed on the grassy green earth and set to work on building.
Today I am sitting on a porch recollecting my own haze.
I asked a girl out and the sun fell down.
We built everything here to look like flowers, that was my idea one day during the rain season showers.

I return to the hearth of soil and ash in another world.
