Milestones made through

Great goals and trophies

Look upon by youthful spirits

Young at mind…I share mine…

Argentina’s Maradona

Great goals of Pele’

To Babe Ruth and Sammy Sosa

Amidst the oohs and ole’

Swish hoops of Michael Jordan

Solid fists of Rocky and Ali

And the fame that of Seabiscuit

During those depressing times

Men donned in colored jerseys

Representing each his own country

When the first gold, bronze and silvers

Were given in Athens, Greece

Baseball’s first women

While their men fought overseas

Forgotten through time

But not by History

Sorry if I may that I could only name quite a few

But believe when I say and this so very true

When it comes to Sports of great feats loved by you

I share that passion, love and penchant for it too!

Tillman was another hero, on and off the field.
This is a special tribute. Thank you.
