I have had dreams and I have had nightmares, but I have conquered my nightmares because of my dreams.~Jonas Salk

Knightmare Aria

Deaf to all the clamor, harnessed spirit tamed
Falling into chaos, pitched into the flame
Sacrificing freedom, for the sake of peace
Strangled by the dreamtime....fighting for release

Trampled into pieces, scattered on the roads
Crushed beneath the burden, heavy is the load
Screaming in the cavern, echos wail and roar
Running down the hallway.......looking for a door

Frozen in the darkness, fractured to the bone
Frightened by the howling....aria of moans
Paralyzed and sweating...putrid, filthy air
Captured by the monsters....locked....within despair

I wrote the poem for the picture

Jesus! When I saw that picture I was scared half to death… Wow! I’m sure I’ll have “Knightmares” myself. This is one very deep write. Just hope I be able to lay my head down. Nope’a I think I’ll keep toothpicks in my eyes to keep the screams silent for awhile, at least until I see my Doctor that is… lol Fantastic write Lady A. Just please don’t ever scare me again like that… lol. Have sweet dreams.

Best of luck to you and yours,
