I try to keep a positive attitude, but this poem came to me while I was sleeping...

What would I do

If one day

I woke up

Unable to walk

Would I fall apart

Or take it in stride

Would I hold fast

Or let my faith slide.

Would I continue to dream

Or let my dreams die.

Would I

Would I?

A thought provoking piece. I have several friends who were reading before going to bed and woke up blind due to minute hemorrhages in their eyes. After the initial shock, they learned to cope. It's amazing what we all can do when we have no other choice.

I don't know, but it doesn't sound like a good time. Kate is right, of course.
