Human beings, vegetables or cosmic dust, we all dance to a mysterious tune, intoned in the distance. Albert Einstein

A Lunar Tune

There was a texture to the music
That echoed on the hill
Kissed by breezes, then licked
Thru fanfare's dulcet chill

It swayed upon the cool breeze
Rode high on twilight's lips
Caressed the moon by loves ease
As kindred spirits kissed

Then drifted towards the starlight
Which beckoned, by soft glow
It flirted with a soft light
That teased it smooth and slow

And then the music nestled
Against the silver moon
Which then became it's vessel
That streamed a lunar tune

A

Hello A PAX,
I can tell that I will want to visit often. Just a brief sampling so far shows me that I will enjoy your writing. I especially like poems that describe the night skies.

A cosmic masterpiece! I closed my eyes ,and visualized myself dancing to that lunar tune, spinning among the stars! thank you, Anita!

Anita, this poem is magical! And I feel the colors combined the way they are in the painting enhance it even more. I have fallen in love with the poem, and only want to be one of the kindred spirits trapped inside of it forever.(how else can I qualify for a kiss?) Speaking of kindred spritis, Kate Burnside truly brings out your poetic excellence as only she can. She is one of the few writers
here at AD who do justice to what they read and comment on. Short comments are nice, but occasionly someone puts their thinking cap on to write (as you have done) and someone puts it on to read (as Kate
has done)... makes a great combo. I am just a rattle 'oner.' Not much meaning to my words, but I try. And I really had to step up to comment on your poem in order to approach its excellence. Will you marry me? Hugs Bill

This is a delightful, astral write, Anita. Loved the seeming cosmic explosion, the Big Bang, of the beautiful visual, coupled with the delicate strength and more subtle hues of the words. And it WOULD be lovely to tune into Mars' Melodies... how come it IS so quiet out there?! Have the planets never heard of Gustav Holst?! Loved your Lunar Tune, Lady A....That's All, Folks!! Thank you. Kate xx

(((lady a)))

much nicer than the tornado tunes we heard last night--the next town south (lillian) had 70 + homes damaged/destroyed...amazingly, by the Grace of God, no deaths, only one minor injury--a broken nose...that's TWO MILES south of here

this is soft, serene and o, so pretty *thank you*

keep me in your prayers--as you and your kids are in mine

(((((HUGS))))) and love, karla. :)
