Not often do I write in this category, but I do love classical and felt the need to expand on that love...

Ah, Classical…

Does relax me while I do drive,

My mind it calms,

Moving faster than my speed,

Helps me to avoid any road rage,

Only thing better is meditation & burning incense…

Hardly to me makes much though sense,

As I also love rock & roll,

On my ears it surely does take its toll,

When later in life,

I become deaf,

I can sit out on a corner selling alms with a bowl…

But for now I can still listen to classical, rock & roll and the like,

As I drive, as I travel, as I cruise down the pike,

Even every now and then I do listen to talk radio,

But not very often as they get me incensed & upset,

Not the way I wish to be when traveling, I don’t want to get…

i like classical music, too, believe it or not; i especially like beethoven, brahms, bach, vivaldi, puccini, itzhak perlman, luciano pavarotti, beverly sills, and placido domingo. my daddy loves classical music, and i heard it all the time growing up. my daddy also loves easy listening (which i don't care for), polka, and country music (the older stars, like loretta lynn, hank, sr., jim reeves, patsy cline, eddy arnold, etc.). he has an eclectic mix, my daddy does! good write; nothing like a little classical to unwind! LOL

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in tx., karen lynn. :D

i love all kinds of music (EXCEPT for easy listening, jazz, big band, ,or MOST rap, also hard rock), but my favorites are cajun and country, also gospel!
