(o,Gary..how I miss your touch, and the faint smell of your skin along your neck under your ear...the epitome of your scent...)

   You wouldn't think
          it such
    That there's so much
          wrapped in a touch

    Holding your hand
       Kissing your lips
           My cheek on yours
               Your head on my breast

     The lose of such
            Reveals so much
                   Is wrapped up
                        In a touch..

Your writings are beautiful and express so eloquently the feelings of the heart. I hope you are still writing...

I too lost my husband 7 months ago and know how you are doing and feeling. It is not fun but we are in a club which we don't wish to belong. Lois C.

My dear friend...Gary lives forever in your heart and his spirit lives here, as well. we are wrapped up in his touch, too. Embracing you with serenity!

I am feeling with you.
It must be very hard for you.
But keep on writing. Not sure, but it might help you to survive some of the days when pain is haunting you.
All the best.

I felt the sadness and grief reading this wonderful poetry

Autumn, I do understand "the loss of such" ... the loss of touch after so many years is devastating I known. For touch says so much to us with the silent lips of love. Actions speak louder than word and touching is an action we have come to expect and accept, isn't it? Very gentle, sweet, poem. Bill Murray
