"If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men."
  ~ St. Francis of Assisi

a field of fragile flowers
swaying in a gentle breeze…
stronger together

tall, triangle trees
share stories beneath the sun…
cooled by community

clapboard country church
symbol of gathering and hope…
communion, sanctuarys

strolling in sweet solitude
the monk meditates, contemplates…
gracious gift of each other

heaven hears hordes of haunted
cries; so many are alone…
a voice says, “Come to me.”

Dawn, I loved this. I am a huge fan of alliteration, and you have the gift -- enough to impact, but not so much that it overpowers. . . . Alliterations beg for a delicate touch, and you have that! Very nice work!
