The Victorian Cage
by Carol Fowler

This is the first of my books. It's unlike the other two in that it could be classified as a young adult, but it's okay for adults, too. And just remember. If you read me..

The storm says it's very lonely,
It asks me if I'd like to play,
It only asks a chosen few,
Especially those that are afraid.
I climb onto a lightning bolt,
Ask it to take me for a ride,
It zigs and zags across the sky,
This is much better than a slide!
I ask thunder to play the drums,
I love the sounds it makes for me,
It asks me if I'd like to try,
We make music, sweet harmony.
I ask the rain if I can play,
I don't mind getting wet at all,
We laugh and splash the whole day through,
I even ride a waterfall!
I need some ice for my iced-tea,
Hail is happy it is needed,
We share our drink with the storm clouds,
Through magic straws that rain beaded.
I ask the wind to dance for me,
It teaches me tornadic moves,
The next time I will be prepared,
When someone asks if I can groove.
I ride a rainbow to the ground,
Ask my friend, Storm, to come again,
I go inside and go to sleep,
Privileged that I was chosen.

LOLOL Andy!!
We have shocking storms here, a bolt hit the window of the neighbours house last season, she never recovered, they moved to Tasmania :) I dont blame her.
But you my dear friend are conquering.. and You will keep on, you will attain your goal.
Excellent write sweetie.
Love Ch'erie
