My Fibromyalgia's acting up BIG time. Keep me in your prayers--
I hope your July 4th holiday is safe, pain free, and fun. :-)
|
"FIREWORKS OF PAIN"
Never ending, these fireworks of pain The kind that explode again and again O, what I'd give to gain independence From Fibromyalgia's pain, so immense
Detonating from my neck to my feet The kind of pain that repeats and repeats Sparklers going off in front of my eyes Adding to color I see in the skies
An eagle tears muscles with wicked claws The kind that intensifies, there's no pause Wish I could amputate body from head No...I have to live with the pain, instead
The finale draws near, but not the end The kind where many fireworks will blend They congeal until I'm burning inside I burst into flame but I have not died
Never ending, these fireworks of pain The kind that explode again and again O, what I'd give to gain independence From Fibromyalgia's pain, so intense

Hi karla. I can understand this from two points of view. Mt wife suffers greatly from "Fibro", and I have chronic pain from degenerative osteo arthritis, which helps me to help Juanita.
You have captured the intensity, and the fears, that come with Fibro extremely well in this work. You write from the heart.
((((Hugs))))

Karla,
I can relate. I had a big FM flare up from over doing, last night and today. We just have to stay positive and take it easier, that somewhat helps to ease the. My prayers are with you.
Happy 4th.
Blessings,
Judith
