To remain hateful or angry of some past negativity only produces more anger and hate...

Yesterdays Past…

With regards arguments & fights,

        Yesterdays past…

With regards bullies and jerks,

        Yesterdays past…

With regards wars lost or won, (as if anyone wins)

        Yesterdays past…

With regards life’s little problems,

        Yesterdays past…

With regards childhood problems,

        Yesterdays past…

With regards anything negative,

        Yesterdays past…

Yes, yesterday is just that, yesterday,

Problems can be considered today, only if they occur today,

Let it go, be happy, show how much you have grown,

As those that hold onto the past, frequently repeat it,

Sometimes in a more violent way, is that what our children should be shown?

                        YESTERDAY IS PAST!

Yesterdays Past made my day today. My Siberian Husky died July 5 seven years ago. Hard to not hear fireworks and forget about something like that.

Thank you Ed.

Oh, Ed.. this is my life's motto. Your entire, brilliant piece is the stuff I live by. I can't change the past, I regret nothing and never hold a grudge. My energy is better used to move forward. I'm thrilled that you know that too. You are wise as well as wonderful! katy xox.
