Giving up and letting go
only you know the battles of your life's road

A million and one positive words you may hear
and all those words being so very clear

A million and one positive words you may read
at least you are trying to plant a seed

When you choose that final hour
you're the only one who has the power

Everyone has forgiven you, but you

Knowing every day in your life's journey
only you are the one who can truly stop you.

This hit home. I was just having a conversation about this very topic with Sue, as a matter of fact. Very well written.

The words of this poem are true. And I think everyone is addicted to something, whether it be a person, substance, or thing.
