How is it that the dog gets fed better than me...?

Snacking Dog…

My dog is fed; yes he is quite a lot I have said,

But never did he get too much junk,

Except for from his mommy, she feeds him even bread,

He loves candy corns, and cake, cappuccino just for the sake,

He likes anything he can get, sometimes turning down his dinner,

He does not do this to diet; he does not care if he gets thinner…

Pretzels and chips, he eats better than me, I must really get a grip,

He even likes fish, and of course when he gets steak, that is a mistake,

As I only get hot dogs, never do I see the likes of meat that thick,

You would think he would share, but this dog is not very fair,

He gets fed by me, his daddy, but never does he share,

The closest thing I get to eat, is a bit of his leftovers,

Which is very unlikely, as he licks his bowl most of the time, eating like a bear…

So remember the next time you do eat, anything I will take,

Send me the scraps; most likely he won’t get them, well perhaps,

Try as I might, I keep him on a doggie diet, but he always fights it,

And his mommy is no help; she feeds him everything she won’t give me,

Maybe she feels in no small part that I need to diet?

Damn I always get the short end of all the fry its…
