The Haitian Drama, history taking the wrong turn
by Antoine Raphael

life's a dream
goin' full stream
know what i mean?

it runs like water
thru a mountain stream

it passes you bye
and you wonder why?
you just live
until you die.

you just live
and you give
a laugh or a cry
but the truth always be a lie
then you die.

like a moon beam
nuthin' is as it seem
just a reflection
of the sun
and what you have done
then your life is done

ain't no do over's
and over's and over's
again
ain't no way to begin agin'

life's a dream
it runs like water
thru a mountain stream
or the light from a moon beam

ain't nuthin' as it seem
nor as it oughta' be
see
life's just a moon beam
and a mountain stream
aint's nuthin' as it seem

it's sure not what you thoughta'
your life would be
when you look back and agree
that moon beams
and the water
runnin' thru mountain streams
ain't what they seems
only dreams

moon beams
and moutnatin streams

nor life
as your years pass
into the past
they never last

so cry or laugh
it's all in the past

yesterday's
that past their ways
into todays
and tomorrows
with all of their sorrows

like a moon beam
and the water
of the could's & would's & should's
if only we would's
runnin'n & gunnin'
havin' funnin'
there in the sunnin'
burnt to a crisp
never facin' it's
but alway's takin' the risk

like a mountain stream
just a reflection
of the moon's beam
just life goin' full steam
know what i mean?

like the water
runnin' thru
a mountain stream
know what i mean?

MOON BEAM
MOUNTAIN STREAM
LIFE'S JUST A DREAM

A MOUNTAIN STREAM

know what i mean?

it's only water
of what we coulda' & oughta'
and shoulda'
for sure

moon beams are for sure
and mountain water
is pure

but a mountain stream
or a moon beam

maybe they just be
a Life's Dream
for me.
guess we'll see
just how it be.

in the End
who Will I Be?
